I was reading a post from a forum member who had closed his Telegram account. It's pretty crazy what's been happening on Telegram since the arrest in France of Telegram's co-founder . More than half of the Telegram accounts I used to follow have been closed or banned. Has Telegram become dangerous for privacy?

Telegram groups and channels get banned every day  now, it's really annoying. Have you guys tried simplex chat? Is it safe to use?

Signal / Kik ? Seriously ? those are based in the US. probably even worse.

As far as I'm aware, Kik is just made up of a bunch of shell companies, nobody is really running, moderating, or logging info on kik, hence the VAST amount of cp on there. You literally can't request info on users, as any legal requests are all ignored, since nobody actually runs the damn thing. Signal isn't secure, I meant to say Session.

In my opinion, yes. I think that TG is not safe that they said. If the founded arrested, nobody know about who is the ppl that are managed it now, and also, we dont sure a cleared points about privacy that they has and if they have relationship with feds now. Also, remember that exist a lot of bots to trace the user ID. So I prefer user other contact way like TOX

Just go with the alternatives that has always been considered safer, Signal for instance
