With all the recent news about Telegram increasingly cooperating with government data requests, including sharing information on over 2,200 users with U.S. authorities in 2024 and even more in countries like India and across Europe, why do people still use it? It used to be seen as a privacy focused app, but now it's just giving up data just like the rest. At this point, how is it any different from the platforms people were trying to avoid in the first place?
